Jay Stein was a film company executive, and was president of MCA/Universal from the 1980's until the early 1990's. He helped design many attractions at Universal Studios Hollywood, and was the founder of Universal Studios Florida.

Relation with Universal Studios FloridaEdit

Stein is notable for being the founder of Universal Studiois Florida. He had the idea of a Universal theme park/movie studio in Orlando, Florida to rival Walt Disney World. He served as a consultant and producer for many of the original 1990 attractions at the park, and was the main director, producer and writer for Universal's Horror Make-Up Show, which remains in operation today.
